Cigned

FOUR PRACTICAL STEPS

How to Stamp and Sign a PDF

Upload your PDF or Word document, place digital stamps and personal marks, then review and download your PDF.

A CLEAR PATH TO YOUR COMPLETED PDF

How the Document Workflow Works.

Start with a ready document, apply the marks you’re authorised to use, and review the result before downloading.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Set Up Your Account

Create an account, verify your email, then create or join a team when required. Save your personal signature or initials and prepare your stamp artwork.

  1. 01 / BRING YOUR DOCUMENT

Upload a PDF or Word Document.

Choose your PDF or DOCX file. Cigned prepares real page previews so you can see where your marks will go.

    • Start with a document that’s ready for stamping or signing.
    • Review the page layout, especially after Word conversion.
    • Your original stays available.

Good to know: DOCX documents are converted to PDF for placement and output.

  2. 02 / MAKE IT YOURS

    Place Stamps, Signatures or Initials.

Choose authorised stamp artwork, your personal signature, or your initials. Position them on the real pages.

Team stamps: Your team administrator must grant permission before you can use them.

  3. 03 / CHECK BEFORE YOU FINISH

Review Pages and Authorise Your Signature.

Look over the pages and placements. Confirm your signature when applicable before creating your completed PDF.

    • Check the document, artwork and placement positions.
    • Make adjustments before producing the output.
    • Confirm that you’re authorised to apply each mark.

Your review matters: Check the recipient’s requirements before replacing a paper process.

  4. 04 / TAKE YOUR FINISHED COPY

Create and Download Your Completed PDF.

Produce the completed PDF and download it. Your original document and previous outputs remain available.

    • Download a PDF with your applied marks.
    • Reopen saved drafts when you need to continue work.
    • Find earlier outputs in your document history.

Keep the original: The downloaded result is a PDF, including when you start with a Word document.

CLEAR EXPECTATIONS

A Visual Mark, Applied Deliberately.

Stamp and signature images are visible document marks. They do not create a certificate-backed digital signature. Approval workflows, public verification and secure delivery are planned additions.
